Bald Mountain Vineyards
was the first Queensland wine producer to win a Gold
Medal in the open classes of a capital city show (1994
Shiraz Cabernet, Brisbane Show 1995). Bald Mountain
maintains an enviable reputation for the very high
quality and consistency of its wines.
This year we have enhanced the range with a
wonderfully crisp and refreshing range of sparkling
wines.
Come and visit us at our picturesque vineyard which
is located less than 10 minutes south of the town of Ballandean, and 5 minutes north of Wallangarra. You will
enjoy the wines and the experience.
Tutored tastings for groups can be conducted upon prior
arrangement. Buses are always welcome upon prior
appointment.
Read about us and our vineyard which is planted at an
elevation of 830 metres and contains chardonnay,
sauvignon blanc, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. Wines of
exceptional flavour and quality derive from the
combination of very deep granitic gravel soils and vines
trained to the lyre trellis system.
